I found an online version of Andy Crowes how to pass pmp exam on first try pdf and I quickly realized it was a fantastic resource but also I needed the latest version. The book has a full length 200 question PMP practice exam. Questions at end of every chapter. Detailed explanations of Earned Value management and the ITTO’s.
This book is written by Andy Crowe and is highly recommended by nearly all PMP professionals. I found it very similar to the PMBOK© in its delivery of content but more focused on helping you pass the exam. It helps develop an understanding of the processes and methodology but at the same time providing you with questions similar to the PMP©. Besides the fact I mainly accredit passing the PMP exam to this book here are my other reasons:

Easier than PMBOK© Guide
I do believe that if just you read Andy Crowes book it would be sufficient to pass the exam. It covers all the same topics as the PMBOK© guide but delivers the content better. It also has a firm eye on the exam with questions at end of each chapter. The week before I passed the exam I reread this book as my supervision instead of the PMBOK©. The book delivers content clearly and concisely which makes it so much easier to digest and review. At the end of each chapter there is a summary and exam type questions. One of my favourite chapters is the Cost chapter which gives particular attention to Earned Value Management formulas and calculations.

Any Negatives
When I did other practice exams I discovered other terms and concepts that were not covered in this book. I think the book provides enough to get you to pass the exam but won’t cover every single thing.
Conclusion on Andy Crowe “The PMP Exam How To Pass On Your First Try“
I think this book was a major contributor to me passing the exam and would highly recommend it to anyone attempting the exam. If you were to buy only one book for studying this is the one I would recommend.
